The health and safety of our guests and staff is our number one priority at Apple Hill Orchard. As the world has changed, we have made some changes too. We have worked in conjunction with local, state, and national health/agritourism organizations to implement cleaning and safety protocols. This is our pledge to you:

• Staff health screenings before every shift.

• Increased disinfecting and cleaning routines in high-traffic areas.

• A handwashing station is provided.

• Hand sanitizer stations are located at the entrance and exit of the store.

• We will provide u-pick bags that you keep. U-pick bags will be sold pre-picking. We will not be weighing any apples. Baskets can be purchased for you to pick with and take home if you desire.

• Picnic tables are spaced for proper social distancing.

• The majority of Bakery items are pre-packaged inside the Bakery and then sold in the store or out of the Bakery windows. There will be no self serve, or service from our in-store checkouts. 

• Sampling stations have been removed from the store. 

• Sneeze guards have been installed at cash registers and food stands.

• Curbside and or in-store pickup is available during set days and times.

• You will find more signage helping to direct customer flow and prevent cross traffic. 

• On busy weekends and days, the store is rearranged and our apples will be sold next door in our grading room. This is to allow for easier social distancing and more customer space.

• Staff will wear face coverings as long as temperature allows (because some of our facilities are outdoors, high temperatures may create a risk of hypoxia or heat stroke for individuals who wear masks for a lengthy amount of time). ​​

We have worked diligently to create a safe environment. We rely on everyone visiting to do their part to contribute to this safe environment. As with any public interaction, there is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19. The CDC advises that those especially vulnerable to severe illness from COVID-19 should refrain from public interactions. By visiting Apple Hill Orchard & Cider Mill, you are voluntarily assuming all risk related to the exposure of COVID-19. Please adhere to the following guidelines before and during visits:

• Stay home if you or someone in your group/family is sick, is immune compromised, or has come into direct contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. 

• Wash and/or sanitize your hands frequently through out your visit, particularly before and after entering the Farm Market. 

• Please only send 1-2 people from your group to check in for U-Pick and to get directions for where to pick. 

• Follow social distancing guidelines by -

  • Adhering to the 6ft distancing recommendation.

  • Observing current recommendations for group size limitations

• Fruit should not be consumed while in the orchard.
