Apple Bread

Ingre­di­ents

½ cup oil
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
½ tsp. bak­ing soda
1 ½ cup diced peeled apples
¼ tsp. salt
½ cup chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
½ tsp. cin­na­mon
½ tsp. nutmeg

Direc­tions

  • Mix first three ingre­di­ents together.
  • Add remain­ing ingre­di­ents and mix.
  • Pour into greased and floured 8″ x 4″ pan.
  • Bake at 300° for 1 ½ hours.
  • Cool for ten minutes.
  • Remove from pan.
  • Cool on rack.

This recipe can also be baked as muffins and can be frozen.
