Stay­man Wine­sap will be open for you pick begin­ning this Sat­ur­day Sep­tem­ber 29.

Apple Hill Orchard is open Mon­day — Sat­ur­day.  We are always closed on Sun­day as stated on the Coun­try Store page.  Vis­i­tors are not allowed on the prop­er­ties on Sundays.

This week end you pick will con­tinue for Jon­agold, Red and Golden Deli­cious.  We con­tinue to have an abun­dance of each vari­ety in the orchard. 

The tran­si­tion to the later sea­son apples is also begin­ning this week end with Red Rome and Cameo ready for the picking.

We are open­ing for the sea­son on Mon­day, August 27th.  In the coun­try store we will have Arlet, Gala, Jon­agold, Golden Deli­cious and a lim­ited amount of Hon­ey­crisp.   Apples cur­rently avail­able for you pick are Gala, Jon­agold, Golden Deli­cious and Red Delicious.

We have made sev­eral improve­ments since last year.   The most notice­able and prob­a­bly the most needed are the park­ing improv­ments.  The lower park­ing lot has been extended adding more spaces and access to Pleas­ant Hill Avenue.  It is now pos­si­ble to leave the park­ing lot with­out going back up the hill to Apple­tree Lane, thus avoid­ing the most con­gested inter­sec­tion at the orchard on busy days.

A ceil­ing was installed in both sides of the new barn dur­ing the sum­mer, much to the dis­may of the birds that have been call­ing it home.

We have also made improve­ments sup­port­ing the bak­ery that will allow us to func­tion more efficiently.
