The Fuji near the new barn seem to ripen ahead of the other Fuji apples in our orchard each sea­son.  The year is no excep­tion.  We checked them early this morn­ing and they are sweet, crisp, and ready to be picked.   You pick for Golden Deli­cious, Stay­man Wine­sap, and Red Rome will also con­tinue this week end.

This week you pick con­tin­ues for Red Delicious, Golden Deli­cious, and Red Rome.  We have been check­ing the Stay­man Wine­sap and we will be open­ing them for you pick on Friday.

Olde Tra­di­tion Cider Spices have arrived, just in time for the cool weather this weekend.

This week end you pick will con­tinue for Red and Golden Deli­cious, both vari­eties are at their peak of sweet­ness.  We con­tinue to have an abun­dance of each vari­ety in the orchard.  Jon­agold you pick will prob­a­bly come to an end this weekend.

The tran­si­tion to the later sea­son apples is also begin­ning this week­end with Red Rome and Cameo ready for the picking.

The smell of  fresh baked bread, muffins, and pies have greeted morn­ing guests to the orchard.  Our apple cider donuts have been pop­u­lar with the cider glaze or cin­na­mon sugar.
